Ski Schools in Pila

Pila Ski School

The Pila Ski School has two offices – one next to the lift pass office at the top of the Aosta cable car and another close to the base stations of the Leisse chairlift and the Gorraz-G Grimod cable car above Pila 2000. Advanced booking is recommended, especially for lessons during the weekend and busy holiday periods.

Group lessons in skiing and boarding are available for all levels both in the mornings and the afternoons (subject to numbers).  Group lessons run from Monday to Friday inclusive, with 3 hours of lessons per day. The morning courses start at 10 am, and the slightly cheaper afternoon alternative starts at 1 pm. Prices for private ski lessons are charged by the hour and vary depending on the time of day, as well as the season.

There are special courses for young children aged three and four years, with morning lessons in small groups of between three and five children.  The Ski School also offers a special all-day service for children in association with the Aquilotti Mini Club with a combination of ski lessons and play with lunch included as required. The ski school has excellent arrangements for children and a fun ski-play area with magic carpet lifts for younger children.

Mountain Guides in Pila

Pila has a dedicated free ride zone accessed by the Couis chairlifts and several off-piste routes through the trees. Mountain guides are available through Alpina Tour, in collaboration with the ski school, for off-piste, ski mountaineering trips and snowshoeing excursions.
