Located just up the street from state-owned Canaan Valley Ski Resort, Timberline has some of the region’s best expert and tree skiing. A 1,000′ vertical drop and 190″ of annual snowfal combine to make Timberline’s skiing some of the best south of the Mason Dixon line.

Snowshoe Mountain
West Virginia’s most famous (and largest) ski resort, Snowshoe Mountain boasts a summit elevation over 4,800′. Two of its runs on the famous Western Territory fall 1,500′ – by far the longest in the Mid-Atlantic region.
