Tschuggen Grand Hotel Arosa

star rating

Looking for a charming up-market traditional Swiss resort with open, sunny skiing and well-defined walks? Then Arosa is well worth visiting, whether for skiing or walking or, if your budget will allow, simply to enjoy Arosa’s super luxurious 5-star Tschuggen Grand Hotel.

Tschuggen Grand Hotel - Carousel

Completely renovated inside and out, from tip to toe, and enjoying a commanding position among the pine trees with spectacular views across the Schanfigg valley, the Tschuggen Grand is one of two 5-star Swiss Deluxe Hotels in Arosa. With attentive management by Tschuggen Grand Hotel’s highly experienced team, standards of service and housekeeping are excellent throughout.

Rooms & Suites

Individuality is the order of the day. Rooms and suites have been individually redesigned by renowned Swiss interior designer Carlo Rampazzi, and most rooms have balconies and spectacular views across the Schanfigg valley.

Restaurants & Bar

Tschuggen Grand Hotel offers a mix of culinary experiences and settings: the traditional Bundnerstube for traditional Swiss specialities in an informal and relaxed setting with skittle alley, La Vetta à la carte Italian restaurant for fine dining and La Provence for lunch and enjoy the large sun terrace. There is excellent lounge space for relaxing and a comfortable, lively bar with live music each evening.

Tschuggen Bergoasa Spa & Wellness

The spectacular Tschuggen Bergoase Spa by world-famous architect Mario Botta incorporates unique use of the elements throughout its four levels. Outside, the sail-shaped glass structures above ground stand out like illuminated sailing ships at night, while from the hotel’s 2nd floor, an impressive enclosed glass bridge corridor leads to the 5,000 sq m Tschuggen Bergoase Spa.

Choose from an impressive selection of spa treatments from around the world – classic massage, aroma oil massage, reflexology massage, head massage, facials, full body peelings and purifying algae baths, to name but a few – along with impressive indoor and partly outdoor, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, hair salon, solarium, fitness and exercise gym.

Owned by the family Kipp and Bechtolsheimer and a member of Swiss Deluxe Hotels the Tschuggen Grand Hotel, Arosa, is one of four Tschuggen group hotels – the other three Tschuggen properties are Arosa’s 4-star Valsana Sport Hotel, the 5-star Eden Roc Hotel in Ascona and the Carlton Hotel in St. Moritz, the last of which re-opened in December 2007 having been completely renovated.

Tschuggen Coaster Ski Lift

And in case you need yet more luxury, the Tshuggen Grand Hotel’s guests have the comfort and convenience of the new state-of-the-art Tschuggen Coaster funicular ski lift exclusively for guests. Top that!
