Piste to Powder Off-Piste Tuition & Guiding

Specialists in off-piste tuition and guiding in St. Anton, mountaineering courses in the Alps and global expeditions, Piste to Powder is owned by Graham Austick, a UIAGM/IFMGA Mountain Guide and BASI Ski Teacher Grade 1.

The Piste to Powder professional mountain guides cater mainly for the English speaking market and offer an excellent off-piste tuition and guiding service from novice off-piste to expert level.

Ability Levels

1. Introduction to off-piste – strong black run skier with tuition
2. Intermediate off-piste – getting to grips, needing to improve
3. Competent skiing off-piste – combining guiding / tuition and high mileage in backcountry terrain
4. Advanced to expert technique – skiing challenging steep slopes, couloirs and powder at speed

Classic and hidden Arlberg off-piste terrain
Off the back of the Valluga Levels 3 & 4 only
Heliski Zürs
Couloirs and ski touring

From 9am – 5pm with lunch stop.
Group sizes 1-7.
All transceivers and safety equipment provided.

Ski Touring in St Anton and Silvretta

Introduction to ski touring2 days warm-up / training
Followed by 5 days lodge to lodge ski touring the Silvretta glacier bowls

Ski Touring on the Otztal Glacier

Intermediate / advanced ski touring
Higher, steeper and longer itineraries than Silvretta
For skiers with previous ski touring experience
