Ski Lifts in La Clusaz
The lift system in La Clusaz is good at dispersing skiers across its five mountains, although queues can build up for the highest lifts on busy weekends. Skiers can choose between a La Clusaz-Manigod lift pass or an Aravis lift pass, which also covers Grand Bornand and the bus that runs between the two ski areas.

Lifts ascend from the centre of La Clusaz in two directions, heading towards the Aiguille and Beauregard sectors. There are also valley-level base stations in the suburbs at Les Etages and Le Bossonnet, as well as at Manigod and below the Col de Balme which also helps to disperse skiers. The Cret du Merle and Aiguille lifts can get very busy on weekends and peak holiday times.
La Clusaz Lift Passes
The La Clusaz-Manigod lift pass might be all you need if you are a novice a fairweather skier or only in La Clusaz for a short-break.
There are also cheap beginners passes for children enrolled in ski schools and a useful 4-hour pass (IE: half day pass) for those trying to max out a ski weekend.
The larger Aravis area lift pass also covers Grand Bornand and the bus service between La Clusaz and Grand Bornand. This expands the total amount of skiing available by more than 75% but typically costs less than 15% extra, so is good value for intermediates and above who come to La Clusaz for a full week.
