Targhee Express
The Targhee Express, operated by DriverProvider.com, brings skiers from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and downtown Jackson to Grand Tarhgee. The service used to operate daily with a shuttle / lift combo ticket option or shuttle service only (without the lift ticket). We understand that this service is not running this winter (2021/22) and we are waiting to learn when and if Targhee Express service will be resumed.
Targhee Express service is via a motorcoach bus and the round trip driving time is a little over an hour. However, the route goes over Teton Pass and can be subject to weather delays, cancellations or closure. Taking the Targhee Express is a great way for Jackson Hole skiers to experience Wyoming’s second biggest ski resort. Additionally, many skiers find that after hitting Jackson Hole’s legendary expert terrain, a day at Grand Targhee’s more mellow, intermediate-focused slopes is akin to a rest day.
Pick-up locations are available in both Jackson and Teton Village. The downtown Jackson locations are convenient for those skiing at Snow King or staying at either Snow King Hotel or the Grandview Lodge.
The Targhee Express departs Grand Targhee from the ski area base at 4:15, returning to Jackson and Teton Village between 5:30 and 6:00 pm. Service suspended for 2021/22 ski season.
