Getting to Brandnertal
Getting to Brandnertal is easier than getting to many other ski resorts. With four airports within 150 km and a motorway exit just 5 km from B?rserberg and 9km from Brand you can easily ski on both the day of arrival and departure . Trains stop at the nearby town of Bludenz, and the ski bus operates from there all the way to Brand.

Getting to Brandnertal by Rail
With the Bludenz train station so close to Brandnertal, it’s easy to get to Bludenz by train. The most convenient airports for rail transfer are Zurich and Friedrichshafen as both of these have integral railway stations, which is an important consideration when carrying bulky ski gear.
The journey time from Zurich to Brandnertal is 2-3 hours, and involves at least one change of train. The journey from Friedrichshafen is of shorter duration, but also involves a change. There are regular bus connections to B?rserberg and Brand from Bludenz station or by prior arrangement most hotels will be pleased to meet you at the station.

Driving to Brandnertal
Driving from Zurich airport to Brand (160 km) should take no longer than 1 hour 40 minutes. Follow the A1 motorway (direction Winterthur and St Gallen) for about 100km then follow A13 to Widnau exit 3 and head towards the border at Diepoldsau then follow motorway E60/A14 (direction Innsbruck) as far as the A14 exit 58 to Brandnertal.
Driving from Friedrichshafen airport to Brand (95 km) takes just over an hour via the B30/B31 then motorway A96 (direction Bregenz / Lindau) over the border into Austria and follow motorway A14 as far as Brandnertal exit 58. Driving from Memmingen to Brand (135km) should take about 1 hour and 30 minutes, also via A96 / A14 to exit 58.
If flying into Innsbruck airport (140 km) you can reach Brand by car in 2 hours or less. Follow motorway A12 / E60 (direction Bregenz) via the Arlberg Tunnel then motorway S16 / A14 as far as the A14 exit 59 to Bludenz-B?rs then follow signs for Brandnertal, B?rserberg and Brand.
From A14 exits 58 and 59 the road climbs from Bludenz to Brandnertal and winds its way through heavily forested slopes. It’s an easy 7 km drive to B?rserberg then a further 4 km or so to Brand. Winter tyres or snow chains are mandatory in winter.
