Hotel Gastof Adler Damüls is a charming 4-star hotel situated in a prime position in the centre of Damüls where the warm glow of traditional Austrian hospitality is clearly visible through pretty green shuttered windows and even more apparent to guests choosing to stay here.
Tastefully decorated throughout, the Gasthof Adler Damüls successfully combines the best of traditional and contemporary style décor, the end result being a warm and welcoming interior throughout with an appealing mix of light wood, natural stone and fine furnishings with a progressive touch.
Hotel Gasthof Adler’s historic building dates back hundreds of years and was acquired by the Breuss family in 1938 who have gently transformed it into a high 4-star standard hotel with 50 beds, cosy bar, elegant restaurant and wellness area.
Gasthof Adler Damüls bedrooms are comfortably furnished and equipped with shower or bath, hair drier, telephone, TV, radio, safe and some of the rooms have a living room. Our apartments additionally have a small kitchen, a corner seating unit, a balcony and a pull-out sofa. Choose from reasonably priced standard double rooms, superior comfort double rooms, family apartments and junior suites. The larger family rooms and suites sleep 3-5 persons and there are more apartment rooms sleeping 2-4 persons in the nearby Gästehaus.
Culinary delights include a tempting breakfast buffet, an afternoon snack with homemade cakes or goulash soup, four-course dinner with choice of main course and once a week the Gasthof Adler’s kitchen staff will organize something special for you, like a traditional Austrian buffet.
The Gasthof Adler wellness area, includes a sauna, steam bath, infrared heat treatment cabin and a relaxation room, is available to you every day. Only massages and solarium are for money. In summer the small outside swimming pool with a lawn complement the hotel’s leisure amenities.
Hotel Gasthof Adler’s spacious lobby is complemented by a modern hotel bar and a panoramic terrace for leisurely après ski and relaxing over drinks before and after dinners in the comfortable restaurant with a traditional wood-panelled Walser Stube, where the Alder’s team will be pleased to pamper you.
The ski area is fine for all ability levels, with 64km of well-groomed, wide open slopes and modern lifts. Hotel Gasthof Adler is around 500m from Dam?ls main lift station, but in winter you can ski-in right behind the hotel, ski-out to the ski lift or take the free shuttle to the ski school and ski lifts – the bus stops directly in front of the hotel. Other winter activities include cross-country-skiing, winter hiking trails or tobogganing, which is even more adventurous when floodlit at night
Dam?ls (1430m), the highest village in Bregenzerwald, is one of the most snow sure ski resorts in Austria with easy transfers in under two hours from nearest airports Friedrichshafen (100km) and Zurich (180km), so you can easily ski same day as you fly.
