Bus Services to Stuben am Arlberg
The Arlberg Express shuttle bus service operates between Zurich airport, Stuben and other Arlberg resorts at weekends. There are four buses daily in each direction on Saturdays and two buses daily in each direction on Fridays and Sundays. Scheduled journey times mostly take 2 hours 45 minutes and seats are guaranteed only if you make a reservation more than 24 hours before departure:

Getting to Stuben am Arlberg by Rail
Frequent fast trains from Zurich and Innsbruck main stations stop at Langan am Arlberg, just 2 km from Stuben. From Zurich airport it’s about 15 minutes by train to the main railway station in Zurich, then take a fast intercity train (end destination Vienna) via Sargans, Buchs, Feldkirch, Bludenz then Langen am Arlberg, which takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes from Zurich Hbf. If you plan your journey well, the total journey time from Zurich airport to Langen is about three hours. From Innsbruck airport, there’s a frequent bus service to Innsbruck main railway station then a one hour and 20 minutes train journey from Innsbruck to Langen am Arlberg. Total transfer time takes around 2 hours. If arriving by train you will also need a taxi to get from Langen to Stuben (2km).
Driving to Stuben am Arlberg
No matter which airport you fly to, it’s usually quicker and easier to complete your journey from airport to Stuben by road. There are good approach roads, motorway most of the way, from all three airports. All motorways in Austria are toll roads so you will need to buy a vignette which you can buy at the frontier or at service stations.
If driving from Zurich or Friedrichshafen), turn off the S16 motorway (direction Klösterle) before the 13km long Arlberg tunnel otherwise you will end up on the wrong side of the Arlberg pass. If driving from Innsbruck to Stuben, either drive through the tunnel then double back a short distance or take the scenic route via St Anton and St Christoph over the Arlberg pass.
Having a car will come in handy for visiting Lech-Zurs, St Anton and Sonnenkopf.
