ESF La Mongie & Bareges Ski Schools
ESF (Ecole du Ski Francais) have two ski schools in Grand Tourmalet – one in La Mongie, the other in Bareges – and 150+ ski instructors providing group classes and private lessons for adults and children from 3 years of age. Lessons available for Alpine skiing, snowboarding, Telemark skiing, Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. Also, Handiski lessons with specially trained instructors and special equipment included for disability skiing.

ESI (Ecole du Ski International) also offer a choice of two ski schools – ESI Ecoloski in La Mongie and ESI Tourmalet in Bareges – providing group lessons and private instructors for skiing, snowboarding and telemark. A Vos Snow La Mongie Snowboard School
A small independent snowboard school in La Mongie. Boarders and Game of Thrones fans will quickly identify the humour evident in Adele Hoffman’s website. Group lessons (6 persons max) for adults and children for 3-5 days (9-13 hours) and for all levels starting from La Mongie or Bareges. Private lessons with technical tips and challenges to push your limits and accelerate your progress. BabyRider option for young children from 3 years; 30 mins to 1 hour with snowboard included. Freestyle, freeriding and snowpark sessions for intermediate to expert riders, snow conditions permitting.

An association of highly experienced independent mountain guides / instructors with more than 1,000 descents of the Pic du Midi for around 3000 satisfied customers since the area was opened to skiing and snowboarding in 2002. Each client is equipped with the latest emergency equipment (airbag reactor bag, Arva Evo4, shovel and probe) and an excellent safety briefing to ensure a calm and safe descent of the most beautiful freeride area in the Pyrenees.
