Mount Hutt Village

Mount Hutt has no real village on the mountain as such and there’s no accommodation on the mountain.

The nearest community is 25km away, down the mountain road at quaint little farming town of Methven, where most skiers choose to stay in one of a dozen or more hotels from 4-star down to 1-star and reasonably lively nightlife.

Mount Hutt Bars & Restaurants

Methven, the nearest town to Mount Hutt, has a wide range of restaurants for a small rural town. Although nothing on the scale of Queenstown, Methven is none the less welcoming, and there’s just enough to keep après-skiers content.
