ESS Swiss Ski School Grimentz-Zinal
Another benefit of the Sorebois cable car connecting two separate ski areas since 2013/14 has been the merger of the Swiss Ski Schools in Grimentz and Zinal, now operating as a single ski school with improved communication and services across the entire ski area. With offices in Grimentz and Zinal. the Swiss Ski School employs over 50 qualified ski instructors throughout the season and up to 80 instructors at peak times.

Lessons and courses include group ski lessons for children aged 4-16 and snowboard lessons for children aged 8-17 from Monday to Friday, for all abilities and typically 7-8 children per group. Private ski, snowboard and telemark lessons for 1-4 people of all ages and abilities are available every day. Freestyle, freeride and competition lessons are also available for teenagers.
Group lessons from 10:30 am and 1:30 pm start from meeting points as you leave the top gondola station (Bendolla) in Grimentz and the front of the ESS hut at the middle gondola station (Sorebois) in Zinal. Private lessons from 9:00 am start at meeting points at the main lift stations in the villages of Grimentz and Zinal.

Located at the Valsport Shop in Grimentz, Ski Zenit Grimentz-Zinal is a leading international group of expert ski instructors and guides. As part of Ski Zenit Switzerland, they offer kids group ski lessons for 5 days for groups of 3-7 participants from Monday to Friday in high season. Also, customised private ski lessons for all ages and abilities with options to visit nearby resorts, ski freeride and backcountry lessons with expert guides for experienced skiers and ski race training tailored to suit all ages and abilities. The Ski Set branded ski school (and ski rental) shop is located close to the old village, around 300 metres from the lift station and has a ski school meeting point close to the top of the Bendolla main gondola.
