Learn to Ski in Breckenridge
The Breckenridge Ski and Ride School offers various courses, all with small class sizes. Skiers new to the area should take the free two-hour Mountain Orientation tour.
The Breckenridge Ski and Ride School has offices at the base of Peak 8, at the Village at Peak 9, and the Beaver Run Ticket office at the base of Beaver Run on Peak 9. Average group class size is seven. For kids, the minimum age is three. Breckenridge Ski and Ride School also offers park and pipe, womens’, seniors’ and telemark programs.
The free two-hour Mountain Orientation tours depart daily at 10:00 am from the base of the Colorado SuperChair on Peak 8, and from the base of the Beaver Run SuperChair on Peak 9. Tours are open to skiers and riders with intermediate ability and above.
