The Lake Placid Lodge is a five-star luxury hotel located just a short drive from Whiteface ski resort. Its impressive array of 13 rooms and 17 cabins provide a rustic-chic Adirondack experience.

Set directly on the shores of beautiful Lake Placid, the Lake Placid Lodge offers long views over the lake with Whiteface Mountain towering above. The hotel was hand-built in the Adirondack craftsman tradition and the decor reflects a commitment to preserving the region’s unique cultural heritage. It is the only hotel set directly on Lake Placid itself (as opposed to nearby Mirror Lake).

The Lake Placid Lodge features 13 luxurious rooms and 17 private cabins.  Artisans, an on-site restaurant featuring locally grown and farm-to-table specialties, and Maggie’s pub provide excellent dining options within the resort complex.

Whiteface ski resort is a 10-15 minute drive and the Village of Lake Placid is approximately 1 mile away. The village features numerous shops, restaurants and bars as well as Olympic attractions.

Please note that the Lake Placid Lodge does not allow children under 12 years of age except at certain times of the year. If travelling with children under 12, please check directly with the hotel in advance.
